The Calhoun High School Girls Basketball Program is excited to be hosting our junior basketball camp this spring, a change to our typical yearly schedule. This camp will be held at the elementary school March 27th through March 29th. Our camp will consist of skills work, drills, and strategy for both offense and defense, competitions, and game play. The coaching staff is excited to offer this camp as an introduction to Calhoun Warrior Basketball and provide each camper with the basic foundation and beyond for the sport of basketball. The camp is designed to be fun and exciting for all youth and coaches involved! We take pride in the basketball tradition of Calhoun and are happy to brag on our high school girls who won 28 games, conference, and 3 tournament championships this season, 7th boys class 2A regional champs, 8th boys had a tremendous season, and our high school boys have won 25 games, a regional, and are now headed to the sectional championship. Although the credit goes to the coaches and players for those respective teams, we like to think this youth camp adds something to the tradition these programs continue to build.
