BRUSSELS CUSD 42

During the week of June 17 to 24, Brussels High School was represented by two of our finest - Haylee Kress and Gaybrielle Henry.  These young ladies applied for and were accepted to attend the Youth to Washington Tour sponsored by the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC).  Students on this tour experience Washington, D.C. first hand and gain an in-depth knowledge of American history and a greater understanding of their role as citizens.  Students interact with elected officials and learn about the political process.  Students on the tour also have the opportunity to visit monuments, government buildings and other cooperative organizations.   Thank you, Haylee and Gaybrielle, for representing BHS.  We are proud of you!
